Mexico started the game very well, having possession of the ball more than their opponent but were not able to take advantage of play. Brazil woke from slumber towards the end of the first half and forced the half to end goalless.
Brazil dominated the second half of the game, running over the Mexican defence, forcing Ochoa to consistent saves and finally got a goal on the hour mark; and it was Neymar assisted by Willian.
The Central America team gave a good account of themselves, playing exquisite football but were not able to open up the Brazilian defence headed by Thiago Silva and as such could not put together much threat on the Brazil goalkeeper, Becker.
Brazil scored the again in the 88minute of the game. Fernandinho intercepted a Mexican pass, started the run and pushed the ball to Neymar by the left. Neymar moved the ball close to the keeper and play it across goal for Firminho to slot in the second.
