Super Eagles Goalkeeper Retires From Professional Football
Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme retires from professional football. This means he is will not play again both for the country and club football.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers no1 announced his retirement after battling with leukaemia for one year.
Carl Ikeme, 32, helped Nigeria to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, Russia 2018 unbeaten before he couldn’t continue with the team due to his state of health.
Nigerians particularly football fans, the Super Eagles including the head coach, Gehnot Rorh and other staffs always pray and give total support to Ikeme all through his trying times.
The giant goalkeeper thanks Nigerians and everyone in the world that support and pray for him.
