Again President Buhari is Going to London for Vacation
The presidential spokesman, Mallam Garba Sheu announces President Muhammadu Buhari’s plan to go on a 10 working days holiday.
As usual, the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will handle the mantle of power as the acting President for the period in question.
Expectedly, the President will also use the opportunity to see his doctor for medical check-up.
“President Muhammadu Buhari begins a 10 working days holiday from August 3, 2018.
In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the President of the Senate, and the Speaker, House of Representatives to that effect.
While the President is on vacation, the Vice President will be in acting capacity as President.
President Buhari will be in London for the holiday.”
Meanwhile, his 10 working days will lapse until Thursday 16th, so he is expected back into the country on Friday 17th of August, 2018.
