Urgent Call for the Extension of PVC Registration

This is a call to for the extension of Voters Registration process by INEC.

Following the struggle, energy and time Nigerians are putting into getting themselves registered to vote ahead the next general election in 2019 while some despite the sacrifices are yet to be registered to exercise their civic right, we hereby call for an extension of date.

We seek the extension of date from Friday 17th to Sunday 26th of October, 2018.

This humble call is not to disregard the efforts of INEC or to praise the heedless public to the call of INEC since the beginning of the exercise but to ensure that the people get what belongs to them.

The video above is one of the numerous showing how Nigerians are standing for long (including nursing mothers) in queue, sitting on the floor, shouting at each other and to cap it all fighting at the registration centre.

The video was captured at Ojoku High School, Tolu Complex, Ajegunle, Ajeromi Ifelodun local government area of Lagos State. Here, officials claim they will stop coming from today 12th. Whereas they arrive by 10am and close by 4pm since inception.

With due respect to Professor Mahmood Yakubu and all state commissioners of INEC, in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians, I implore that you need to this call from a nobody.
