The Chairman, Daar Communications, Dr Raymond Dokpesi; Senator Bala Mohammed and Ambassador Bello Mohammed have dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Attorney General of the Federation, before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
The men are challenging the constitutionality of Executive Order No 6 of 2018.
Dokpesi and others in the fit, are annoying the courtroom to claim that the Presidential Order 6 issued by way of the President unlawful.
They want the regulation to be declared null and void and of no effect in any respect, having regard to the truth that the said order constitutes an strive by means of the president to workout to the detriment of the plaintiffs’ judicial and legislative powers no longer vested in him by means of the charter.
They also are praying the court docket for an order nullifying the Order no 6 of 2018 at the ground that it constitutes a negation of the presumption of innocence of the plaintiffs till demonstrated responsible by way of due process of law, as assured via the constitution.
