He stated this at some point of a media briefing in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Friday.
According to him, there was a text message being circulated that Adeleke had withdrawn from contesting the election.
He stated that the statistics become absolutely false and was meant to dissuade voters from casting their votes for Adeleke.
Adagunodo said, “There is a text message going around. It is a tactic by means of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party to deter voters from coming out to vote or to use it to curry sympathy or to make humans feel that he’s the only strolling now.
“Our candidate has never merged or stepped down for anybody. We are not even discussing such.
“We are the main candidate. Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke is contesting and he is going to win the election.
“There is no merger and no withdrawal in any form.”
