Salisu Yusuf Bags One Year Ban, Fine, From NFF
Salisu Yusuf has been banned from all football activities for the period of one year. He was also slammed with 5,000USD for bribery and corruption.
The Super Eagles assistant coach was charged for the allegation of receiving a thousand dollars bribe from journalists that disguised as football agents on hidden camera. The bribe which he called ‘a gift’ was said to be given to him to influence the selection of two players, whom the agents claimed to represent.
After the outburst, The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) promised to investigate the matter which this happens to be the outcome: A year ban and 5000 US Dollars fine for breaching NFF Ethics.
However, the NFF said that Salisu Yusuf can call for an appeal if he so desire.
