See Nigerian reactions to Buhari’s Magaji Appointm,ent as DSS boss

President Muhammadu Buhari has sparked divergent social media reactions following his appointment of Yusuf Magaji Bichi, as the new Director-General of the Department of Security Service (DSS).

The appointment made public in a declaration through Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu on Thursday.

Yusuf Magaji , an indigene of Kano State replaces Matthew Seiyeifa, who has been operating in appearing potential due to the fact that Lawal Daura was fired.

This improvement has stirred up public debates amongst Nigerians, in particular social media platform.

While some Nigerians stated that the appointment became appropriate and in line with the constitutional powers to rent whoever he deems match to head any of the security groups, others think otherwise; announcing that key appointment inclusive of the DG DSS have to mirror the federal individual of Nigeria as a multi-ethnic nation with 36 federating units
