Oshiomole Reveals What APC promises Omisore
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has waved aside claims in a few quarters that the governorship candidate of the Social Demicratic Party, SDP, Iyiola Omisore, was bribed to support the ruling Party (APC) within the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State.
He said Omisore was best assured by the APC that a number of SDP’s manifesto could be applied with the aid of the ruling Party.
Oyetola thanks Osun people, Reveals what he will do for them
In a session to the people of the state after his victory, Oyetola thanked the voters while dedicating his victory to the people of the state. Oyetola said the election which produced him as the governor-elect was a serious battle. He thanked God for the victory.
“The huge number of candidates who vied for the office was unprecedented. Though there were few glitches and challenges here and there, the exercise was satisfactory. “We can say there has been substantial compliance with the provisions of the constitution and the electoral act,” he said.
Presidency meets NLC leader on Minimum Wages
Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Friday met with the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Ayuba Wabba, as part of efforts to convince organised labour to call off their business movement.
Shehu turned into at headquarters of the NLC in Abuja in which he advised the labour unions to see motives and make halt the strike.
