APC Stakeholders insists on Rejecting some Aspirants amidst Pressure

APC leaders still insists on disqualifying some aspirant even with Aishat Buhari Involvment

Amidst high pressure from APC major Stake holders, not leaving Aishat Buhari out, the wife of Mr. president; Ogun state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun: Kaduna state Governor, Nasiru El-rufai, among others, the national working committee of the All Progressive Congress APC panel has insisted on the disqualification of some candidates that took part in the primaries ahead of 2019.

In a document sent to the newsmen, Senator Shehu sani has been cleared by the panel.

“The party’s primaries across every states has been accused of allegations of irregularities and illegal disqualification of some candidates. “   

The issue had triggered a lot of session and back meetings between the president and the concerned governors, some of those whose anointed candidate were affected.

The president’s wife had kicked against the APC primaries, Nigeria latest news recalls. She lamented that the primaries manifested so much impunities.

“It is disheartening to note that some aspirants used their hard earned money to purchase nomination forms, got screened, cleared and campaigned vigorously yet found their names omitted on Election Day, these forms were bought at exorbitant prices,” Aisha had said.
