President Buhari Visited Wounded Troops in Maiduguri
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari visited wounded men of the Nigerian Army in the hospital today in Maiduguri.
The President saluted the sacrifice of the military on Nigeria and Nigerians and prayed for the souls of the demise.
“Today in Maiduguri I visited our wounded troops. Across the Northeast we have officers and men fighting bravely and tirelessly to keep our country safe from terrorism and violence. I salute their sacrifice on our behalf. And may the souls of the fallen rest in peace.”
He visited the men after the annual security conference hosted by the Nigerian Army under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusuf Buratai.
